Radio frequency identification technology achieves the reader and the tag information transmission without contact by the method of the wireless radio frequency communication to get the acquisition and identification of the target. As it has the feature of reading and writing speed,anti-interference ability, identification of a moving target, without human interference,it has been widely used in transportation, logistics management, production, storage and other areas. The broad application prospects of radio frequency identification technology promote lots of resources into the research and rapid development of it. As the facilities of radiation and reception RF signals, the antenna is the bridge that achieves the electric tag and the reader's non-contact information transmission. The antenna plays a crucial role in the whole RF identification system, so it has an extensive significance for RF identification antenna research. This paper firstly introduced the theory about RF identification technology and showed the component parts, the working principle, and frequency division of the RF identification system. Secondly it detailed the basic theory of the antenna and briefly introduced the antenna parameters and the affect of the antenna performance. This paper did the research about the design method of RF identification and designed two kinds of tag antenna and a reader antenna. As for the requirements of the impedance matching, adding a suitable matching sub at the bent arm by learning from one branch theory, it effectively decreased the size of the antenna and simply achieved input implement matching. As for the reader antenna, it achieved circular polarization by using fractal patch antenna structure, slotting on the patch, adding parasitic element. The tag antenna and reader antenna both have a small size and a simple structure, and are suitable for RFID system.
