Nowadays artificial target-record is generally used in army actual shooting trainings. But due to its lack of security, unnecessary cost of human and time and inconvenience of real-time adjustment based on shooting situation for shooter, a new scoring system which is represented by photoelectric and image technology comes into being. As its good security, real-time performance and high efficiency, the new system is marching towards a more and more widespread application prospect.Based on the army shooting chest bitmap in the circumstance of filed actual combat, this paper shows an intelligent scoring system which uses WLAN technology and digital image processing technology. The research consist of general design of system and design and realization of digital processing algorithm which aims at distinguishing scoring ring and bullet hole.In the first place, the essay expounds the general design of intelligent scoring system based on WLAN technology, providing design proposal and general structural diagram. Centering around the two key points:scoring ring recognition and bullet hole recognition, this paper proposes a method using sliding window division and conics fitting to extract scoring ring at first, making a solution to problem of ring wire's accurate positioning in natural conditions; then it uses a method to eliminate untrue bullet holes by the way of connected component labeling, membership declaration and region growing algorithm; at last it realizes the goal of real bullet hole extraction and point of impact score judgment. Meanwhile large quantities of actual shooting images verify the efficiency of the algorithm.The experiments indicate that the general design and relative image processing algorithm of intelligent scoring system proposed in the essay are practical; the system operates stably and reliably, providing a more than 95% identification rate of bullet hole. The system which has the characteristics of high efficiency, high speed and accurate target judgment overcomes the defectiveness of artificial target-record and well supplies the demand of army actual shooting training, providing a good application prospect.
