Design Of Coal Mine Ventilator Monitoring And Control System Based On Embedded Processor

The ventilator is an important facility in coal mine ventilation system, whether it can work or not has a relationship with the productivity of a coal mine company and together with the safety of human that working underground. To keep the ventilator working reliably and try to reduce its consumption of electrical energy, this paper designed a special monitoring and control system for the ventilator that serving in coal mine, according to requirement and technology in coal mine production.The embedded processor is used as the core control unit in this paper to design hardware and software structures for ventilator monitoring and control system, and it has achieved the function of ventilator status monitoring and control. Signal detecting module is designed for this system, using the signal detection equipment such as temperature sensor to detect temperature and speed of the ventilator. And the system has an energy meter module to monitor the power grid and the effect to it when the ventilator is running. System can switch ventilator, related gate and also power supply channel in automatic or manual control mode. Speed adjusting function for the ventilator is designed in this system, using frequency conversion control technology to transmit frequency-adjustable output signal for speed adjusting. In order to investigate the status of ventilator, system has unique interfaces for LCD and data-storage module, saving the data of ventilator status when displaying, this will help trace the cause of the accident and predict the reliability of the ventilator.
