The Research Of Datastream Oriented Target Network Simulation System

The continual increase of network size and complexity make it difficult that making the research on network problems in the physical network. Though there are a lot of famous target network simulation systems at present, they mainly focus on logical simulation. they can't meet the needs of the target network in flexibility, expansibility and so on. This dissertation has put forward and designed a kind of datastream oriented target network simulation system which can be used to assist in the target network environment construction.This dissertation has analyzed and researched on the theory of target network simulation, system structure of network device simulation, and has done deep analysis on Click system especially. This offered the theory supporting and technological way for the system design and implementation. And according to the demand of target network, the dissertation has proposed a kind of visual interactive simulation system framework and described it on the whole, including the background and demands of the system, design principle and targets, planning thought and framework of whole design, outline design of each component, the macro structure and micro structure. At last, the final goal of the system which we confirmed is that the function modules classified and drawn out properly can assemble the needed network device. And then, in terms of software project, through the comparison and analysis of the characteristic of various kinds of network device on the system structure, this dissertation pointed out that all device is a processor in essence, based on which this dissertation has implemented the key technologies, mainly including the technology of visual operation, capture of network packets, implementation of RIP protocol and the generation and parsing of configure file etc. Meanwhile, this dissertation described the implementation procedure of three kinds of network device including router, HUB and Ethernet switch and the detailed planning and code of the key function modules. Now the system has been completed in project and has finished the system test.
