The Research And Application Of Pos Machines Network Based On Bittorrent

With the vigorous development of the domestic retail, convenience store market continues to expand and rapidly increases in the number. The chain network of it geographically spread out continuously. Because of the changes of business strategy and market, headquarters frequently need to update the stores'sales data on the POS machine uniformly. Headquarters also need to find a way to collect the sales data from POS machine at the same time. So the whole POS machine network has certain requirements of data transmission's efficiency. As the network increases, the traditional C/S mode can't meet the actual demand of data transmission. We need to find a new effective way to improve the transfer mode.In this paper, we study the data transmission model of POS machine and try to use a distributed data model to improve the status of POS machine's data transmission. First, this paper tries to analyze POS machines network and combined with P2P technology to summarize the characteristics of POS machines network. Based on the analysis of the BitTorrent protocol and its data structures, we improve several download algorithms of POS machine network and use gossip algorithm to take care of the load balance of POS machine network in top priority. Secondly, based on the algorithms we analyzed, this paper proposes a middleware system of download with detail design and implementation, including entity design, data stream processing, implementation of algorithm, etc. Finally, this middleware system has been embedded into some download models to instead the traditional C/S model. All of them are applied to actual POS machine to improve the data transmission. In this paper, the high efficiency of data transmission on POS machine network is built on the load balance. All the download mechanism of POS machine network is abstracted as a middleware system. This System is very practical. It has improved its scalability and reduced the coupling of download model.
