Profile Measuring System Based On Digital Image Processing

As a new subject, the image processing has developed rapidly during recent decades. It combines relevant theories and today's high-tech to study different kinds of image theories, technology and application systematically.The technology of image measurement is a new measuring method applying the image processing technology to measuring filed, which is to analyze and process the digital image by computer science so as to achieve the goal of image measurement. The basic process of image measurement is:collect digital image, analyze and process the digital image by computer, abstract the demanding factors, then output the measurement result after the analysis. The method of image measurement has the virtue of non-contact, high speed, large dynamic area, abundant information, which is attached importance by the local and foreign measuring field.This paper is focused on processing of Automotive Air Conditioning Compressors. According to the requirements of measuring shallow holoes of accessories, this paper is dissertated on method of collecting, analyzing and outputting the digital image. It designed the profile measuring system based on digital image processing, and completed the development of both hardware and software of the system. It is focused on measuring of digital image measurement technology in planar coordinate, research of colorful image analysis, image sharpening, and data analysis. The profile meassuring system discussed in this paper has been applied to the processing scene with all anticipated results achieved, which has plays an active role in production.
