Acetylene is widely used and there are many methods to produce acetylene, it can be taken from calcium carbide, hydrocarbon and the coal. However, limited by the production of raw materials. The acetylene plant in this project make full use of Province Qinghai's natural gas resources and Fuzzy-PID hybrid control is used to the acetylene production process control, this method enhance the level of acetylene production process automation, increased efficiency of acetylene production.This thesis firstly introduce the methods of partial oxidation to product acetylene briefly. Combining design requirements of acetylene production line's control system, based on PCS7, we do some researches on control system's hardware and software configurations, network configuration, automation programming, instrument selection and etc. And then taking the subsystem of pyrolysis furnace for instance, taking temperature of cracked gas into studying object, based on the analysis and design of the adjustment of the main control parameter in pyrolysis furnace control system, this thesis proposes the strategy of Fuzzy-PID hybrid control, after MATLAB simulation test, using the combination of CFC and modular programming method, successfully designs Fuzzy-PID control block and realize Fuzzy-PID hybrid control based on PCS7. At last carry out a simulation study in PLC-SIM and use the method to control the actual process.The MATLAB simulation results show that the response time and overshoot of Fuzzy-PID hybrid control is significantly better than conventional PID control. In actual process, compared with the conventional PID control, the control of pyrolysis temperature is better with Fuzzy-PID hybrid control, while pyrolysis temperature is an important indicator of acetylene yield, then the purpose of improving the yield of acetylene is achieved.
