Water supply system is an important part in the production and in people's life. In rural areas, especially in the cities, the demand for water is increasing because of growing population and expanding the scale of the city. The rapid development of China's market economy and the continuous improvement of living standards, making factories, businesses and residents have increasing demands on water quality and water supply reliability and so on. In addition, the current lack of water resources in particular because of the national conditions of China's population. In summary, it is necessary for social development of the application of automation theory in the water supply system, and the design of good performance, energy-saving effect of the water supply system which is used in the production and in people's life.It is as a prerequisite for the transformation of water supply system in MeiGao Group in this paper. First of all, described the development status and the application about control theory of Constant pressure water supply system at home and abroad. Second, by analyzing the characteristics of water supply system, energy conservation principle, theoretical models and mathematical models, designed the technical solutions of water supply system. Given the control strategy based on variable universe fuzzy PID controller for Water Supply System. Compared by MATLAB simulation, we can draw conclusions that the simulation curve of variable universe fuzzy PID controller which fulfills the requirements of the water supply system has a high regulation accuracy and good steady state performance. Last, designed a program of Man-machine interface using MCGS configuration software and designed ladder program using Siemens Step7 software.
