Measuring Radar is showing a high degree of automation, information technology, systematic and intelligent development trends, and the complexity of their systems have become more sophisticated, so radar equipment has become increasingly difficult to maintain. To accomplish efficient fault diagnosis for radar equipment to maintain the operational status is of great significance to improve the combat effectiveness. For fault diagnosis and location in the complex equipment, relying solely on the diagnosis of maintenance personnel to use the traditional method of fault diagnosis and rule out the possibility for greater limitations.At present, a variety of disciplines have become the intelligent sounding, radar measurements of the intelligent fault diagnosis fault diagnosis is the force of the inevitable trend of technological development. In view of the current measurement with a range of the radar equipment showed a high degree of automation, information technology, systematic and intelligent development trend of radar field for lack of fault diagnosis of the actual situation and needs, the use of fault tree analysis methods, the idea of Intelligent Fault Diagnosis method of fault diagnosis on the radar system have been studied, in view of the complexity of radar systems and are difficult to establish a precise mathematical model, the signal frequency is too high, poor conditions of electromagnetic characteristics, building a knowledge-based intelligent diagnosis way of radar intelligent fault diagnosis.Follow the example of a radar transmitter subsystem, article attempt fault tree analysis at the object and apply diagnostic methods of self-organizing feature map network and fuzzy neural network diagnostic reasoning of two failure modes of the radar transmitter reasoning research. Structure of two methods of fault diagnosis is simple, and achieve the radar equipment fault detection and diagnosis, that has practical engineering value. Especially for those very difficult to establish a mathematical model of the system, have good practical and versatile. As a result of neural networks and fuzzy inference systems are only part of information processing, can easily access the network training data inference rule. The simulation results can be seen through the examples, diagnostic techniques based on intelligent fault diagnosis method to obtain good results; the fault diagnosis method can be expanded to the whole of the measuring radar system fault diagnosis, measurement of radar equipment for the provision of a new fault diagnosis method.
