Design And Implementation Of Group Hospital Data Integration System

By analyzing and investigating the demands of group hospital, combining with the development trend of hospitals and infonnatization status, a data integration system based on MSMQ has been putted forward to solve the information island which is caused by basic and business data share difficulty among each branch hospital in group hospital.Essentially, the data integration system is a message processor which can be seen as a kind of middleware. It is composed of four parts:message gateway, data center management system, data synchronization tool and connection status monitor tool. The gateway is responsible for forwarding and receiving messages. As most of the message format is XML, the gateway should have the ability of packaging and analyzing XML files, and data center has been putted forward as a concept in this thesis. The branch hospitals in group hospital are connected by star topology structure and the data center is the center node of group hospital. A management system has been developed for the data center. Through this system, the operator in data center can maintain the branch hospital interrelated information. Data synchronization tool is used for data synchronization in time or at certain time; by using connection status monitor operator can monitor the connection status of each branch. Especially because of mapping mechanism, data with different table structure can be synchronized. As we can say the difficulty of HIS data exchange in group hospital has been solved by the implementation of this system.
