Google Cloud-based B2c Site Admin Module

Business to customer (B2C) e-commerce site has the following advantages; the goods they sell are cheaper and have high quality, good creditworthiness and good safety. Nowadays the B2C e-commerce site trends to replace the Customer to customer (C2C) e-commerce site. More and more enterprises and traditional C2C e-shop owners put their eyes on the B2C site, which is approved by more customers. At the other side, cloud compute is a popular concept in recent years, we can develop a B2C site which is deployed in the cloud computing platform, which means we can deploy our application in large scale sever cluster provided by cloud compute supplier. This combination brings us the following benefits; it can reduce the hardware costs of the site, it increases the flexibility of the application and security.This thesis describes how to design and implement a B2C e-commerce site's administrator manage model which is based on the Google cloud compute platform Google App Engine (GAE), Google Web Toolkit (GWT) and GXT. Firstly we make the requirement analysis for the manage model of Gcshop, then we design the architecture, datastore and the function details of the system, finally we implemented the system. As we know, the concept of cloud compute is popular but project based on cloud compute is rare, the bright spot of Gcshop is that it combines the cloud compute and B2C e-commerce site, thus Gcshop can reach a good effect of demonstration. The reader of this thesis will know the developing steps and key points about an e-commerce site based on cloud compute. This thesis also does some research on the developing tools such as the basic concept of datastore, the usage of JDO and how to make asynchronous communication between server and client by using GWT.As the thesis proves, it is feasible to implement the B2C e-commerce site based on Google's cloud compute platform GAE. We can enjoy abundant benefits by using cloud compute; it can reduce the costs and improve the competitiveness of enterprise and individual e-commerce shop; we can also know the key point of how to develop a project by using cloud compute platform.
