In order to understand the working state of multi-axis control system in real time well, to make clear the mutual relationship among the axes, to improve the system control strategy as well as to enhance the capacity of real-time testing, an intelligent real-time testing method is proposed, this high precise method is based on semi-physical simulation technology and PCI bus.The simulated testing system for the method applies eight MAX1308 A/D chips to collect multi-axis control signals with a maximum of 64 channels in real time. Then an FPGA is used to process the information of the signals and feed it back to the control unit. In this way the multi-axis control system create a semi-closed loop. The testing system then establishes mathematical models to do pulse frequency detection, transfer judgments, voltage detection and error analysis to the data collected. The analyzed data is saved in double buffer as Ping-pong buffers temporarily and sent to the master control system where a binary tree is used to organize these components together to improve the efficiency of the operation. We can figure out the relative position of each model components by applying double buffer mechanism from OpenGL, present the movements of the multi-axis system in 3D animation and save the analyzed data in database for query. The accomplished debugging of master control software and hardware circuit cards shows that all finished functional modules have worked well presently.
