| Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) is the current research areas of concern, which involves a number of fronts, has a very broad application prospects. WSNs is the main problem of existing energy efficiency, low-power operation for network, energy conservation a priority of the network protocol is extremely important and urgent.MAC layer network protocol stack at the bottom, is the message from the network layer to physical layer of the channel, which directly control the data transmission mode, format, and its behavior on the performance of the network plays an important role, directly affects the efficiency of network efficiency. This paper presents the use of low-power DSP as the controller solution, the use of IEEE 802.15.4 MAC layer protocol as to build a new type of wireless sensor nodes. This article discusses the implementation of the node, divided into the hardware system design, software system and protocol implementation and the node test.The node dual MCU design, you can use the MSP430 microcontroller, so that existing programs can be run directly, or use DSP as a controller, the node processing power can be greatly enhanced to solve the original sensor nodes shortage problem. RF module uses the CC2520 chip and the PCB against F-type antenna, power saving visual communication under the condition that the distance of 100 meters. This article builds on the node a simple MAC frames, the communication test is successful, the node power consumption were measured to estimate the node's battery life.The nodes can be used for low-cost, low power, large amount of computation and more wireless sensor networks, can also be used to test development and protocol, provide the hardware and software platform for the next step of the development of wireless sensor networks. |
