With the development of communication network architecture which has been close the limit of Shannon Theory, Rely on changing the modulation or upgrading technology to improve network capacity and speed of approach is moving towards the end, and the future solutions is only depending on reducing the physical size of the base station to get wider and more intensive coverage. Therefore, the concept of HeNB has been available since 2005 in the LTE system, and then quickly gets worldwide attention and research. So the research on the mobility optimization technology of HeNB has important practical significance.This paper is based on home base station in LTE system, on account of its handover failures. The practical solution is proposed. The main thesis work is as follows:1,Introduce LTE system architecture and home base station technology. Discuss the function entity of HeNB and handover technology. Introduce the mobility robustness optimization use case and follow up the progress of LTE standardization work related.2,In response to the current standard after the HeNB restarts, the using frequency may be changed, making the original frequency information of the UE recorded is not reliable. In addition, due to physical cell identity may change or be confused with other HeNB after HeNB restarted, these will cause an error of measurement configuration, leading to possible radio link failure, this paper is to solve this problem, propose a measurement process improvement method in LTE mobile communication system, we through added the HeNB cell E-CGI information before UE report the PI to the HeNB to prevent the MeNB measurement error configure of the UE, and gives specific implementation process. Through simulation shows that the optimization program effectively reduces the measurement time delay, and greatly improves the success rate of handover. 3,In the LTE system,for the ordinary too late handover, after the UE re-establish the connection to the new cell. The new eNB which controls the cell need to send RLF indication to source eNB ,for the source eNB to achieve the detection of these issues. But for the target cell which is HeNB. the handover configuration measurement process is different to target cell which is MeNB, especially the too late handover to the HeNB, according to the usual approach for too late handover would be unnecessary handover parameter adjustment, which led to other handover problems. Therefore, this paper presents an improved optimization approach and the specific processes that can distinguish the specific reasons in HeNB too late handover, thus we can adjust handover parameters according to the different reasons, so greatly improve the handover efficiency. Finally, set corresponding simulation scenarios and simulation parameters to verify the effect of improving method.
