Radio Frequency Identification technology is based on radio frequency communi-cations of non-contact automatic identification technology,widely used in public transport, security, access control systems, medical, hazardous materials tracking and other fields.Teaching the management of one of the main elements of the daily student attendance management, time and attendance data as an important teaching management information, not only to the student's own interests, but also to ensure the normal operation of higher education teaching order of the important means. Therefore, time and attendance system developed in this project to ensure the attendance statistics for the accuracy, timeliness is of great significance.Based on RFID technology developed by student attendance management system, the system consists of hardware and software components. The hardware design includes the following modules:1. main control module:the control core of the data processing device to read and write, not only to control the RF processing module to complete the non-contact card reader, but also responsible for the communication interface with the host or through the application of communication systems and other equipment on display external device control;2. memory modules:hand-held terminal is equipped with SD card slot, the host MCU read from the RF radio frequency reader module information can be stored in the SD card;3. RF module:responsible for the RF signal processing and data transmission, to complete the RF card reader;4. touch-screen modules:hand-held devices to complete the second generation ID card menu and information display; 5. Power Module:In order to provide a stable power supply system to achieve the battery pack charge and discharge management, rational scientific management and reduce system power consumption.The system software includes:1. hand-held card reader (the machine) software design:Hand-held reader software includes:RC531 driver, LCD, touch screen driver and RS232 communication program.2. PC software design:Visual Basic and database development technologiesThe student attendance system developed has been tested to meet the system's design performance requirements. The system is already used in Taizhou Teachers College, teaching management, attendance management in the daily work of the students play an important role. Proved:the second generation ID card system is easy to read and write, fast, stable and reliable.
