The Research Of Shansi Daily News In The Republic Of China

Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China founded in 1918, June and discontinued in 1937,october. It was publishing 20 years. Master military and political power, after that, Yan Xishan founded Shansi Daily News, which was the mechanism journal of the political and military in shanxi province. The purpose of the established the newspaper was publicizing his policy thoughts and maintaining his rule. The research of Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China has important significance, to study politics, economy, military in period of Yan Xishan reigning shanxi province.I did four tasks to complete this paper. First, I refered to existing Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China in Shanxi Province library. Second, I understood the political social situation of shanxi province in minguo period, after I read about the history books of shanxi in minguo period and Yan Xishan's biography. Three, I read some books about history of Chinese Journalism, to know the characteristics of Chinese newspapers. Four, I summarized various characteristics about Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China and its supplement in different periods using classification and sorting methods. My thesis is to let people know Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China, that is of great signifiance in the whole shanxi history.I wrote five chapters in this thesis to study Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China. The first chapter introduced the founding background and brief basic material of Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China. It was political circumstances for founding Shansi Daily News that Yan Xishan mastered military and political power in 1917. The growth of newspapers in the Republic of China provided good conditions for the development of Shansi Daily News. Then, I pointed three stages according to the development of Shansi Daily News in 20 years. The next three chapters I summarized various characteristics in the three stages of the newspaper. The second chapter discussed the first stage of Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China. This stage is from 1918 to 1924. Yan Xishan authorities of speech control was very strict, but the comments in the newspaper had active thoughts in this period. It was development period of the newspaper. The newspaper published a lot of commercial advertisements in the stage. Authorities manipulate public opinion in the control of loose within tight. The fourth chapter I studied the third stage of Shansi Daily News in the Republic of China. This stage is from 1930 to 1937. It was operation later of the newspaper. Advocacy skills of Shansi Daily News was comparative wonderful in the fighting in Central China from beginning to end. In the fifth chapter, I studied the supplement of Shansi Daily News. There were four supplements with Shansi Daily News. It were Shansi Daily News Week Attached Issue, Shansi Daily News Judicial Weekly, Up the Line and Construction Weekly. I introduced their main content and characteristics in this chapter. The last chapter presents Shansi daily news influented the during the period of the republic of china in all aspects of Shanxi Province.
