The technology based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing of Multi-Input Multi-Out (MIMO-OFDM) is the key technique in modern mobile communications, has become extensive concern. MIMO Technique can improve capacity and reliability of channels, while OFDM can improve utilization of frequency-band. In order to know better the system of MIMO-OFDM, the article introduces the synchronous technique of MIMO-OFDM which is also the mainly research content in this paper.First, we introduce the structure, working principle and key technique of MIMO-OFDM, and it analyzes the importance of synchronization in OFDM systems and the effect caunsed by synchronization offset for the OFDM systems. Then, we discussed the classic synchronous technique of MIMO-OFDM. We analysis two kinds of synchronous algorithm put forward by Schenk&Zelst and Mody.We analysis the synchronization algorithms based on time orthogonal sequence and based on CAZAC sequences,And analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the existing algorithms and carried on in MATLAB. An improved arithmetic is proposed based on time orthogonal sequence, it based on the analysis of the existing synchronization algorithm. Then, synchronous algorithm based on CAZAC sequence was improved. Simulation results indicate that the performance of improved system is improved.
