The ability of managing interfaces is of greater significance for underwater equipments as underwater acoustic technique develops rapidly nowadays. The method to design each interface is very important for underwater equipments.According to the condition that the interface of underwater equipment is flexible, the dissertation uses NiosⅡsoft core processor to design interfaces of underwater embedded system, which is custom-built to meet the actual requirement. NiosⅡprocessor provides many interface units with drivers to choose. Users can also utilize their mature design units with NiosⅡprocessor, so that one-chip solution is available. The dissertation has designed Ethernet interface, serial interface, AD interface and USB interface in the FPGA embedded with NiosⅡCPU, while software on the PC is programmed in Visual C++ for interface management. The AD chip is used in analog signal real time sampling at 50 kHz when working. The software of the Ethernet interface is based onμC/OS-ⅡOS and LWIP stack. The PC software is able to send commands to enable or disable the AD chip through Ethernet interface, while the communication status is displayed through the serial interface. The USB chip can work under USB2.0 protocol, while the PC software can receive the data sampled by AD through the USB chip for analyzing later.A final test has proved that each part can work well and stably.
