With the development of embedded technology, wireless communication technology and the data processing technology, there appeared a group control system of using distributed control thoughts. The control system realize the specific functional tasks by using a upper computer centralized control and manage a module of lower computer to finish, which transmit data mainly through bus between upper computer and lower computer. Currently group control system has been widely used in the field of different real-time control system such as greenhouse environment control system, agricultural embedded measurement and control system and various kinds of real-time monitoring system.This article simply introduces the concept and related content of the FPGA embedded technology, Zigbee wireless transmission technology and group control system, the key is to design the LED lawn lamp group control system adopting the distributed control thoughts, and amply introduces the design of the software and hardware module about the upper computer and lower computer, finally using DEII development board and QuartusII application software design and realize the system. In the process of design the system, the upper computer mainly generate colour fluctuate data by using the technology of OpenGL to simulate the changing scene of LED lawn lamp, then transfer to the lower computer to broadcast through the technology of Zigbee wireless communication. The module of lower computer mainly using the soft processors of NiosII to storage and play broadcast data, transmit the audio files in SD card to the chip of WM8731 decoder to decoding into analog sound. The LED lawn lamp change colors mainly through PWM adjust the duty cycle to realize in IP core.Using the FPGA embedded technology to design and develop the group control system of lawn lamp shortens the development cycle, but also provides the convenience to add or delete the system components. Using Verilog HDL language to design and encapsulate the IP core accelerated the speed of analysis and processing broadcast data, make the LED lawn lamp present 256 different colors, can realize the different effects of motionless and gradual. Traditional lawn lamp control system has a slow processing speed, the color changes single, and it is difficult for Layout wiring, but all these problems are solved in the control system. Meanwhile, the design also has the advantage of the high efficiency in develop, low cost, low risk.
