Design And Realization Of Web-based Online Learning Platform

With the further development of the multi-media technique and networked campus, network study has become feasible .It breaks the boundary of traditional campus and creates a broad diversified study environment free from limits of time and space. At present, teaching activities based on a network have already become an important part of many universities. Many universities have already started to develop autonomous study system and made various beneficial endeavors. In order to adapt to the booming development of network education and establish a long-term and convenient study system, the teachers of colleges are encouraged to create some perfect network courses. Under such background; a network-study platform based on NET is developed.After analyzing the feasibility and the requirement of a studying platform, this paper gives the frame structure and database structure of the system. Furthermore, based on the analysis of the functions of each mold piece in detail, it also carries on system implementation with the source construction as a core by adopting the thought and method of software engineering and combining the key links in the traditional teaching process, and develops the functions of the system by combining techniques ASP.NET with SQL Server 2000. After the students choose a course, they can look into the contents, hand in homework, ask questions online and leave message on BBS; The teacher can support a network course, assign homework, answer questions online and participate in leaving messages on BBS; The managing person is responsible for comprehensive management and customer's management of system.The studying platform, with the student-study subsystem, the teacher- management subsystem and the management subsystem under design requirement, has sound functions and friendly interfaces and is proficient in dealing with errors and stable in operating.
