With the rapid development of network technology, information technology in education is an inevitable trend, as the evaluation of the quality of education, examination is undergoing networking and paperless leap. Web-Based examination system is the product of applying computer and network communication technology into the field of teaching, which can effectively overcome the problem of high cost and low efficiency of the traditional mode of exam, not only can relieve the burden of teachers in titling and scoring, but also has an advantage of examing at any time, anywhere and rapidly analysis of exam data, etc., to improve teaching efficiency and quality. Therefore, the research of Web-based examination system has important theoretical and practical significance.This theory, based on J2EE and related technologies, with municipal reform issues " Chongqing Creation Vocational College " 3+1 "pattern of training and practice" as the research ground-work, in order to solve the problem of the existence of a complex installation, functional side small, low degree of intelligence of the existing network test system, a web-based examination system based on J2EE is designed and realized.This examination system combines the advanced teaching management procedure and modern network technology, and makes use of many advanced technologies such as the MVC model, Struts framework and Hibernate frameworks. The functions of the system include candidate information management, questions management, manual/automatic test paper, automatic grading and performance such as query and statistical functions, and so on.In the thesis, many problems such as the links among web pages, the security of web page's transfer, the limiting of test time, separating show layer from business logic layer, how to realize the MVC model and the Struts framework in this system and the design of database are solved. Drawing on data warehouse concept of multidimensional data cube, based on the algorithm in the random test paper, a simple, random, good knowledge point distribution automatic paper gernate algorithm is designed; reffer to the fuzzy theory, a high accuracy of the automatic grading algorithm is realized; make use of software testing methods, the interface of the system, functionality, compatibility and other related tests are done. By testing, the system has a good interface, relevant features can be used normally, and it is proved, with fewer than 200 people at the same time using, reslated problems have'n been found, showing that the system has good stability and reliability.
