Design And Realization Of Automatic Course Arrangement System Based On Genetic Algorithm

Timetabling task is particularly important in school educational administration management work, even quite complex and tricky. According to the will curriculum, abide by certain constraint conditions, fully and effectively use limited teachers and school teaching resources, in accordance with the time and space not conflict principle, assign reasonable time-space scheduling table, namely curriculum for schools is of great significance. Reasonable curriculum schedule is able to stabilize teaching order, improve the effect of classroom teaching, promote the benign development of teaching work.Timetabling problem has been proved to be a NP complete problem early in 1976 by S.Even etc. Currently there are many studies on timetabling algorithm, but still fail to form an optimal solution. In this paper, first, investigated the existing algorithms on timetabling problem, and decided to apply genetic algorithm to solve course table problem. Then analyzed and designed the timetabling system, researched on the influencing factors of curriculum problem, formulated the main constraint conditions and established the corresponding combinatorial optimization mathematical model, and improved genetic operator to improve the efficiency and speed of the algorithm. Using object-oriented programming ideas, in Eclipse development flat, we chose SQL Server 2005 database. Finally against middle school realized the automatic course arrangement system based on genetic algorithm, studied the application of genetic algorithm in middle school course arrangement system.The system testing results proved that this system had friendly interface and was easy to use, the basic functionality of each module in the system had been implemented, and well meet the prescribed main constraint and effectively solved the conflicts between students, teachers and classes, raised the solution speed and finally formed scientific and reasonable curriculum. ?...
