In the wake of the enlargement of scale for running a school, and the growing number of teachers and students, the daily work of student management is becoming complex; the contradiction of sharing resource becomes more apparent and duplication often appears in different department. In order to solve the automation and standardization of student management, release the labor intensity and develop the quality and level of management, the use of modernity information management system is an inevitable trend.With the information management system, the disorder and repeated management of student work can be clear,flow orientation and simplification. Fullfil the collecting,saving,processing,organizing,managing and using demands of information resources. It provides a fast and efficient digital means for student management; meanwhile, improves the efficiency and level of management in every department, releasing the burden of work.Taking Jiangxi Vocational and Technical College as an example, as to the demands of student information system. I analyze the B/S architecture feasibility in the student information management system. The system make the Oracle database and J2EE as a development platform and use UML to model-building. Since the relative demands of student work system, the three frameworks of the system was built, student information system was developed. The proposal referred in this paper has already been used in Jiangxi Vocational and Technical College, achieving satisfied results.
