The LED lattice screen is composed of many light-emitting diodes.It is used to display the character by turning on or out the light-emitting diodes,which has the features of higher reliability,longer lifespan,better environmental adaptability,higher cost performance,and become more and more widely used in the field of information display. LED lattice screen based on cable transmission which is controlled by computer is not convenient in installation and position changing,and if user want to change the displaying content or the image,it seems to be rigid and inflexible;And the method of public wireless transmission need high payment.WSN is short for Wireless Sensor Network. Wireless sensor network is a system of multi-hop self organization network which is deployed in the monitoring area by the large number of low cost micro sensor nodes, through the way of radio communication, which aims to collaborate perception, picking and processing objects to be perceived in the coverage area of the network.The ZigBee technology as a new short range radio communication technology based on open international standards with low cost, low power consumption, low data rates, low complexity and high reliability, has very broad application prospects on energy management and efficiency, home automation, building automation, industrial automation and wireless sensor networks,and currently it has become a research and application hotspot.To overcome the current deficiency of the LED display system,a system of wireless LED character screen based on the bottom module of WSN is developed, using the ZigBee radio communication to transport data,making the LED screen system to be both easy to install and replace the position, but also reduce the operating costs.In this paper,by taking Freescale's MC13213 chip for example,I will analyse the design and implementation of the large LED display system, illustrate the key technical principle and method, give an overview of performance and structure of the system, the development process of the system, technical difficulties and innovation, the current problems and improvements from the design of hardware,the design of ZigBee radio communication,the design of LED display by using the ZigBee radio communication technology.
