Research On Integrated Positioning Card Based On ZigBee And GPS Inside/Outside Of Tunnel

Tunnel construction has high risk with the complex geological conditions. During the process of construction landslides, toxic gas leakage and bad construction environment threaten the safety of construction staff heavily. In order to protect the personal safety of construction staff, a systematic study of security technology to the safety of tunnel construction is expected imminently.In order to protect the personal safety of construction staff, in addition to the real time monitoring of construction supervision units to the tunnel site quality, the personnel attendance of construction, real-time position monitoring and life characteristics acquisition and other measures should be implemented. In order to realize the security measures, this article research and design the integrated positioning card which personnel can carry base on ZigBee, GPS and GPRS. This card can provide staff attendance for the remote monitoring terminal, location information, and the staffs life characteristic information, ensure the safety of constructors.The positioning card is integrated with GPS and ZigBee positioning module. When the construction personnel are outside the tunnel in GPS satellite signal coverage, the GPS module in positioning the card provides positioning information through a GPRS network. Construction personnel information is transmitted to a monitoring terminal; when the construction personnel enter the tunnel, the GPS signal blind zone, the positioning card carried by construction personne provide staff attendance information and real time high precision positioning through the ZigBee base station erected in the tunnel. It changed the original simple attendance way only using RFID technology.Pyroelectric infrared temperature sensor integrated in the positioning card collects and monitors the temperature information of construction staff real-time, implement the remote safety monitoring of tunnel construction personnel.This paper completed hardware design, software design of the positioning card. And research the RSSI algorithm, complete the differential correction of RSSI algorithm, ensure the tunnel ZigBee positioning precision.
