This article describes the basic principles, the mathematical model and the implementation steps of the basic PSO. Convergence factor added to PSO can ensure the convergence of the algorithm, For the standard PSO is easy to fall into the plight of local optimum,Hybrid particle swarm optimization puts the selection mechanism into PSO, Ensure the algorithm convergence speed, while ensuring a strong global search ability. This paper presents a random initialize hybrid convergence particle swarm optimization, Experimental results show that the algorithm has faster convergence speed and stronger global search ability than Traditional optimization algorithms.In this paper, the author builds a network model of open-pit mine roads based on describing the real open-pit mine roads. The building process includes the following: the composition and description of the road network; the node selection; the weights determination and the generation of road network. To achieve the network model, this paper designs a database to store network data and achieves the operation of the network data through the secondary development of AutoCAD. This paper also establishes the steps of the improved PSO based on open-pit mine road network model in solving the optimal path between any two points and implements the application of the improved PSO in the optimal route selection and uses this model in an open-pit mine as an example.
