In 21st century, the development of wireless mobile communication technology is rapidly; especially the 3G technology in the context of global has strong momentum. 2009 is the beginning of new era for Chinese telecom industry, the three major domestic carriers, China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, carry out their own 3G respectively. Over the next five years, China Telecom's EVDO service, China Mobile's TD-SCDMA business and China Unicom's WCDMA business will starte a heated rivalry in the telecommunications industry for 3G business in China. After the acquisition of CDMA business by China Telecom, domestic addiction for many years will also get new hope for the development of the CDMA market.CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) is a digital interface technology being used in business in recent years. It has high frequency utilization and low power consumption of cell phone. As CDMA network continues to be built and expand, the quality of the network has become a fundamental factors determining carrier fate. Network optimization is becoming the focus of future work for the communication operators. Network optimization goal is how to optimizing and improving the mining network potential to the maximum extent, how to increase or maintain the quality of the network on the existing network. The quality of the network is the result of the interaction of various factors, with the deepening of the optimization work and improving of the optimization techniques, optimize work have infiltrated the market forecast, network planning, implement of project even the entire operational cycleprocess from the current network. PN planning is an essential part of the network optimization of the CDMA, PN planning is shown the more important because of limited number of PN offset.This article describes the development and theoretical basis of CDMA mobile communication and significance of studying on PN planning. According to the status of Yanbian Telecom CDMA network and practical experience, a number of PN planning and adjustment measures are made. Final the testing and optimization of networks are done for some time on YanBian telecommunication CDMA network. PN planning implementation and evaluation reports are made through a detailed analysis and comparison of data. Details on the following areas:1.The leading mobile communications system, CDMA code, search Windows, PN planning background and significance are introduced.2.The highlights PN planning objectives, specific optimization of content and PN planning process are especially focused on according to the related communications materials and books.3.Yanbian telecommunication CDMA wireless network status is introduced; The network is evaluated, statisticed and analysed about its key indicators. 4.Before PN is planned, some problem sites of the network are optimized about RF inorder to ensure unlimited environment clean and tidy.5.According to the PN planning requirements, four different PN planning are put forward and are compared with the optimization scheme of exist network, the strengths and weaknesses of the four kinds programme are analysed.6.According to the actual working experience and the analysis and summarization of the collecting data related to testing, we determine the final PN planning and implement it. The key indicators of the network before and after the implementation of PN planning are compared.The last is the summary of the full text. The result of our research make the basis for subsequent work, further make a strong guarantee for the mobile communications business development.
