This paper discusses the China Unicom Yongji branch in 2010" 7.28" after the flood, using EPON technology based on access network to realize the post-disaster reconstruction, modification of specific design and implementation. Broadband data Internet business Unicom is the core business of the company, along with the development of communication technology, the communication service has affected every aspect of people's life, the ordinary ADSL has been unable to meet the user 's demand to the belt width, and passive optical network ( PON ) to the traditional telecom business can be a very good inheritance and development, to provide more high rate of bandwidth, to meet growing demand for broadband services. This article from the Yongji 2010" 7.28" after the flood, communication and reconstruction work, the use of existing equipment and network, the Yongji county within the traditional fixed network smooth upgrade, upgrading and transformation, with a variety of means of access to solve the voice, data, integrated business high bandwidth requirements, create a mature, stable, scientific and reasonable the new network, proposed the PON technological transformation of the necessity. Secondly, the current mainstream FTTx technology, the passive optical network technology were analyzed, the technology of EPON is to solve Yongji Unicom reconstruction work in the best choice. Research on EPON technique to realize multi-service access QoS security, dynamic bandwidth allocation, network security, and other aspects of the study, the EPON working principle and key technologies are discussed. Yongji Unicom considering that EPON technology is a new generation of broadband network mainstream equipment, the technology makes full use of the optical network and passive optical splitter characteristic, equipment investment cost, the cost of network operation and maintenance, to provide users with faster and more stable broadband network. The EPON network can be simultaneously carrying voice, data services, achieve multi network fusion. With FTTH solution based EPON technology has become the mainstream broadband access technology, in view of this, Yongji Unicom post-disaster reconstruction transformation with EPON technology as ways of transformation.On the practical application of EPON technology, FTTH can be used as a representative of the EPON technology, can use all fixed-line broadband access applications, the mature technologies and products, economic efficiency to meet the Yongji Unicom post-disaster reconstruction needs, based on its high bandwidth, long distance, less maintenance, saves resources, saving construction cycle, through the network to transform, to the Yongji Unicom users of the new high-speed experience, has also been recognized by the vast numbers of users.This paper focuses on how the existing network of Yongji Unicom EPON transformation, as well as in different scenarios of the EPON network is proposed, and in Yongji Unicom reconstruction work to advance, combined with the network status, give the network construction guiding principle, and the transformation project of network design, through the engineering examples in a variety of test, final verification of the network design, choice of technology feasibility.
