With the fast development of information and various new broadband services, users'requirements for network business have gradually enhanced, while continuing to maintain the original simple MAN structure cannot fulfill the demand of new business any more, which has restricted the improvement of network communication business. This suggests a need for network optimization.According to the IP MAN guiding ideology of China Tie tong Communications Corporation, through recent years'investigation on IP MAN development of Changchun city, this project analyzes existing problems of the living network, and puts forward optimization scheme for Changchun Tie tong IP MAN combing the needs of business growth trend of IP service. This thesis focus on the study of network structure, routing design, multi-services of Changchun Tie Tong IP MAN, on the basis of which realize the construction of manageable, controllable, low investment, secure multi-service bearing network. First, it introduces the purpose of optimization design and the construction principle to analyze user growth trend of Changchun Tie Tong from early 2009 to 2010 year-end.Second, it briefly introduces mainstream mature technology of IP MAN, expounding the technical characteristics. Third, through the optimization of the Routing Protocol, it makes clear the adjustment of IP MAN network topology under the circumstance of certain MAN resources. At last, with the help of construction model of living Tie Tong network and the development direction of MAN operation, it presents optimization scheme on the basis of analyses on MPLS, VRRP, OSPF, QoS.On the grounds of optimization scheme, it will provide better support for optimizing and adjusting the IP MAN for the future multi-service business, secure network.
