With the wide use of internet and computer technology nowadays, enterprises adopt many modern technologies to set up extensive system of information processing and communication, which enhances firms'economic performance and competitiveness. Employee information has become an indispensable component, providing the managers with vital supports for managerial decision-making and various staffing matters, and playing a more and more important role in the process of production and allocation. Traditional manual operation and out-of-date management model is no longer suitable for the demand model of the modern information, therefore it is necessary to construct a employee management information system with full functions, user-friendly interface and safe running to satisfy modern enterprises'management requirement. Most of the current solutions of employee management system, however, are found the weaknesses of high coupling degree and less flexibility. Hence this system based on .net technology framework, provided by Microsoft, is designed for the purpose of sorting out the drawbacks of enterprise application integration in the realization of employee management system, and of efficient system integration.This thesis introduces employee management information system based on .net platform. It comes from a project of the HP branch in Dalian. The project uses tools provided by .net to create, edit, transfer and process different categories of message to integrate the dynamic operation procedure both within a company and cross companies. The system designed in the thesis adopts C# development language, with backend database adopting SQL Server2000, and Web server adopting IIS6.0. In the real implementation, the system realizes interaction and integration of information of inner and inter firms'isomerous ERP, which has lowered management costs, raised efficiency and reached ideal results.The thesis consists of four parts. Part 1 discusses the background of system development and introduces knowledge related to the thesis, beginning with relevant knowledge about .net and enterprise application integration, explaining the working mechanism of the .net, and introducing the related techniques used by the Web application system based on the .net framework. Part 2 analyzes the system demand for the employee management information, through initial and detailed investigates, confirming the system's requirement for user functions and data flow, and constructing system logic model. Part 3 is the design of employee management information system, confirming the system's functional modules structure by preliminary design, designing detailed functions of each functional module by detailed design. Part 4 is the realization of the system, including two sections of realization of managing employee information and enterprise application implementation. Realizing functional modules of employee management information system adopts ADO.NET and SQL Server database. Since the system requires to be integrated to other inner firm's systems when managing employee information, it adopts the BizTalk platform for integration.
