Since China Railway raises its speed, the progress of railway passenger car equipmentmodernization has been quickened. Along with the booming of passenger cars of new type,the level of integration increased significantly. To promote the informationization of rollingstock depot and give exact statistics of car component operation as well as failure rate ofcomponents manufactured by each factory, we have established the static and activeparameter recording system for railway passenger cars.With the great speed upgrading time and again, the pace of the facility modernization ofpassenger vehicles also speeds up. The railway passenger vehicle models change and updateconstantly, and the integration level of the new vehicle technology is also increasing. In orderto improve the informatization construction of our segment, more accurately make thestatistics of parts usage and failure rates for each manufacturer, the record managementsystem of the railway passenger vehicles need to be more precise and flexible. Therefore, wehave established the solid-state and dynamic parameters record management system databasesoftware for passenger vehicles.In this paper, in combination with the characteristics of our segment, we have analyzedand researched the system functional requirements, conducted the data design and functionaldesign of the system, and established the corresponding database, data table, as well as keydata and business processes of each function module. The confirmation system mainlyincludes five function modules such as the record entry and modification function module, thequery function module, the statistical analysis function module, the user management module,system maintenance and management function modules and so on. The B/S (Browser/Server)Three-tier is adopted on the basis of the design of the functional modules of the system forsystem development and design. In this paper, the concept of genetic algorithms is adopted in the query module and the query is optimized. By analyzing the user's conventional thinkingin executing the query operation, we have designed a search algorithm, which simulates userthinking activities in the queries. Each query is used as an independent encoding bit, setsconstraints satisfying the query requirements, and generates the initial population of record. Itdetermines whether to satisfy the constraints according to the calculation results of individualfitness. We have adopted the operating evolutionary of use selection, crossover and mutationoperators as a set of candidate solutions, thus obtained the optimal solution of the queryresults.In this paper, we first makes the analysis on the needs of the fixed and dynamicparameters record management system, then provides a detailed description of the system'soverall architecture design, process design, and database design, and finally, makes anin-depth study and exploration on the genetic algorithm technology in the query module. Invarious stages of the whole process, we adopt the UML Unified Modeling Language for thedevelopment and design of the system in this paper.
