PID is one of the earlies control mesures, genetic algorithm is a kind of overlapping,self-adaptive,probable searching algorithm based on mechanism of natural selection and natural inheritance. The thesis mainly uses genetic algorithm(GA) to optimize PI adjustor parameters. In the thesis SGA's theory has been analysed deeply, in order to get over the disadvantages of SGA some mesures have been put forward to form a new theory MGA,and apply it in the PI adjustor parameters' optimization of the single loop and series loop control system, the simulation results achieve good control effect.In addition, a software named Control System Adjustor Parameters Optimization(CSAPO) has been completed ,which can universally be used to optimize the PI parameters in self-balance control system.
