With the development of internet technology, a new round of internet investmentstarts, including e-business, video websites and micro-blogging etc. This guaranteesIDC business a steady grow in China. However, problems like lower in materialre-usability, lower in energy utilization, lower in level services and significantincreasing amount of transferring data, which are preventing the IDC business fromgrowing. In order to help the operating companies to effectively solve the aboveproblems, we introduce cloud computing technology to IDC and make it part of ourmajor add value business. However, comparing to the traditional IDC business, thedeployment of Cloud Computing Application is more complex. We need to choose theproper way to deploy, distribute and distich job based on the characteristic of thesystem. To make a guideline for identifying the proper system type, we constructed aquantitative Cloud Computing Evaluation System.Firstly, the different types of deployment architecture and summarized thecharacteristic of Cloud Computing deployment are analyzed in this paper. Secondly,we conclude five resource utilization modals based on the analysis of resourceutilization parameters and KPIs from certain application. Thirdly, we used AHP(analytic hierarchy process) to construct quantitative resource utilization system. Finally, we applied the system to the example in real life, proved the correctness andefficiency of the qualified resource utilization system. At the same time, through theexample of the evaluation, confirmed the use of the application of AHP method tobuild a quantitative assessment of system resource consumption for telecom operatorswith a high reference value and application prospect.
