With the development of the multimedia technology and computer technology, thetechnology of new human machine interaction becomes a hot spot in the science field atpresent. It's one of the important contents of the present research which combineshuman-computer and image processing to apply in the multimedia teaching field. In orderto solve the problem that the speakers are bounded around the computer and can't walkingaround when they are teaching, this paper researchs and designs a light pen hand-paintedsystem which based on laser pen interaction.Firstly, the paper analyzes the basic video collection methods, and uses a newtechnology based on OpenCV video collection. In the part of image procession, physicalmethods and background denoising methods are used to improve the contrast betweenimage laser pen projection points and background. Some traditional algorithms inprocession are analyzed, such as gray transformation, threshold segmentation andmorphological operation.Secondly, the paper makes the key research in inspection and extraction of laser pensprojection points in the system. In the part of target detection, the paper studies sometarget detection algorithms which are used frequently, and uses the method whichcombines background difference and frame difference. In the part of background update,this paper researchs and analyses previous background update algorithms, and improvestraditional algorithms, the new algorithm enhances the adaptability of systemenvironment.Finally, the big screen edge detection, coordinate transformation of the laser penprojection points, camera distortion and realization of the interactive control areresearched. In the part of coordinate transformation, the linear coordinate transformationmethod is adopted,and in the part of calibration, this paper uses the method of cameracalibration, the new method solves geometric distortion which generated from system andthe camera. The paper uses the knowledge of Windows application programming interface and virtual mouse to complete interactive control function.This system uses Microsoft Visual Studio2008and OpenCV as software tools,verified the feasibility of the algorithm by using a large number of experimental andfinally achieves the system light pen hand-painted function.
