With the business developing and achieving information technology, enterprise internal IT has to purchase a large number of IT software and hardware for meeting the non-linear growth of business demand. Meanwhile, with the growing number of corporate officers and the expansion of space, internal IT also has to purchase a lot of office application for meeting users' working demand. The result is corporate IT has to invest doubled resource on equipment maintenance and software update. And the IT infrastructure under the traditional technology and resources has become extremely complex and large. So how to solve the manpower shortage and decrease the labor costs has become a tremendous challenge for business manager.Therefore, this article mainly focuses on server virtualization, application virtualization and system architecture which can achieve centralized management of enterprise data centers. In this paper, using the more popular cloud computing, VMware, Citrix and other virtualization technologies, we proposed the idea of virtual enterprise data center. Front end of the business units can use many services which enterprise data center provides. And by the IT department centralized maintenance and management of data center, we'll save IT resources to achieve green IT.In this paper, the popular cloud computing, VMware, Citrix and other virtualization technologies are introduced. Finally we will provide and suggest how to improve the virtual framework for the further development.This paper is divided into four chapters, background of virtualization technology generating; theory of virtualization technology; virtualization architecture designing and applications using in enterprise data center; conclusions and outlook.
