During the modern test system development, the fiber-based optical interconnection bus is gradually replacing the traditional electrical interconnection bus due to high time-space bandwidth, high-speed, high density, low interference and power consumption characteristics. As the back-end test instrument signal can not totally achieve an effectively all-optical signal processing, there is a great need for multi-standard high-speed optical signal converting to electrical signal to process, and then the processed electrical signal is converted to optical signal under the related rules and transfer out through the optical fiber, so the optical interface module is the key.With the depth study of the 10Gb/s series rate optical interconnecttion bus signal theory and signal integrity technology, on the basis of the high-performance digital signal processing FPGA for test core, designe a optical transponder for the high speed test and process system optical interface. Main innovative work in this paper are:1. Complete the design of the 10Gb/s series rate optical interconnection bus module, which achieve the reception rate of 9.95Gb/s to 12.5Gb/s multi-standard high-speed optical signal, the optical signal convert to electrical signal and sent to the back-end instrument for the measurement and processing, while the electrical signal convert to optical signal and send out through the fiber.2. According to the design of the optical interface module, complete the optical interface module hardware work.According to the signal integrity theory,complete the key 10Gb/s high speed serial signal simulation before routing and improve the PCB design by analysing the simulation PCB design eye diagram.The layout simulation results show that the signal quality is fully met the back-end processing instrument requirements by the module conversion.3. To make use of the powerful logic FPGA signal processing capability, complete the design of an affordable high-speed signal of bit information test system, combine with TX300E SDH/OTN Optical Network Tester, successfully complete the 10Gb/s series rate optical interface module testing, the test results show that the performance of the module is fully met the requirement of the back-end processing instrument.
