Nowadays, integration of internal systems and business exchange increase the need of interaction between heterogeneous systems, motivated by higher demands in terms of cost saving, shorter development cycle, faster adjustment, and more reliable execution. Enterprise needs to recompose and configure the existing resources to realize process aware fast system development. Most existing solutions tend to the underlying integration and rely on the secondary development and all these issues lead to the lack of flexibility. Those approaches cannot realize the interaction of unstructured data information between complex systems and insufficiently support the reuse of well running function modules. Therefore, an effective and executable integration solution is necessary for the enterprise as the guidance of fast system development.To solve the problems in the enterprise system integration, the resource based enterprise system integration architecture is proposed. Design and development enterprise resource platform to realize the various resource based enterprise integration patterns proposed in this paper. Those approaches provide technology and implementation solution for the enterprise integration and fast system development.The paper's work is following:(1)Analyze the key elements of the resource integration combining the relevant technology and theory. This research proposes a resource-based enterprise integration architecture including five layers UI layer,component layer, business logic layer, resource layer and data layer. According to the key elements and architecture of integration, formalize modeling of integration process and define four models including resource basic model, process model, UI model, permission model, as well as the resource term during the implementation of the integration patterns.(2) Combining resource based enterprise integration architecture and the relative method and technology for each layer, focus on the cross-sectional study of the five basic integration patterns with the performance and environment. Furthermore, considering enterprise real requirement and executable resource integration platform, three resource-based enterprise integration patterns are proposed in longitudinal study, including service-driven integration pattern, process--driven integration pattern, data--driven integration pattern. Those patterns are shown as the whole package solution of the architecture and execution and all the steps and elements involved are formally described.(3) Design and develop the prototype system enterprise resource integration platform to realize the proposed integration patterns. Expound the architecture and function modules. Using an applicable example within scenario of a shipbuilding company shows how to realize the integration patterns on this platform. The two patterns are implemented here that the service based integration pattern and the business process based integration pattern. The comparative analysis verifies the feasibility and efficiency of the resource-based enterprise integration patterns proposed in this research.
