With the development of the 3rd-generation(3G) all over the world ,especially in the deployment and management in China ,the demand for mobile internet increases gradually .In this context,3G Evolution-LTE(Long Term Evolution) has increasingly become the focus .In order to achieve the high data rates ,the resource allocation algorithm is a necessary part of LTE system .It can allocate the wireless resource rationally .Not only the fairness between users can be ensured, but also the utilization of radio channel and the QoS can be improved by resource allocation algorithm. The thesis takes the project named a new research of radio resource management and validation oriented IMT-Advanced,which is supported by National Key Technology R&D Program in the 11th Five year Plan of China as the background. The limit of the resource allocation in uplink is analyzed and the Proportional Fair (PF) algorithm is proposed. Modified Largest Weighted Delay First(M-LWDF),Modified Largest Packet Lose(M-LPL) and Modified Proportional Fair(M-PF) are researched based on PF. The simulation shows the fairness of M-PF algorithm is the best. In addition, the simulation about the different business based on M-PF indicates the fairness of the voice is the best. Seeing that the fairness index in uplink is not very best, a real-time updating PF algorithm is proposed in downlink. The simulation shows the real-time updating PF algorithm obviously improves the fairness index.
