| With the rapid development of the information society, from People's Daily life to enterprise operation, they have been increasingly surrounded by infiltration information system which they're dependent is getting more and more seriously. Especially in finance, communication, transportation, insurance, and other industries, once the critical data is lost or damaged, it will bring individuals and enterprises immeasurable losses, thus network backup has become a hot research topic.The tripartite structure of online data backup service system based on mass data storage is consisted of backup client, backup servers and storage server. The backup client is responsible for receiving user customization data backup strategy, restoring request and data management command .Backup server joins backup client and storage servers to become the control center of data backup software. It is responsible for implementing backup/recovery data transmission between storage server and client and doing local storage space management and data organization according to the backup server's strategies.Data processing ability of storage server is one of the key factors to influence the whole system's performance. Storage server manages and organizes backup data efficiently and locates restore data rapidly by adopting multilevel data index management technology, so it can improve the storage server-side utilization, manageability and system scalability. Meanwhile, online backup service system uses a block-level data deduplication technology to save network bandwidth and improve the backup efficiency, instead of backuping large number of duplication data in traditional data backup technology, which wastes lots of storage space and network bandwidth.The results of comprehensive test on online backup service system designed shows that the storage server effectively realize multi-application node concurrently, decrease the amount of redundant backup datas and obtain high performance of backuping and restoring. |
