With the progress of mobile communication technology, 3GPP long term evolution project proposed (LTE),is aimed to design a speed higher, lower latency, greater system capacity,broadband,and packet based mobile communication system,and to provide high-speed data communication service for image ,voice,data and other multimedia in the communication market.LTE project make HARQ technique a key for communication error control to guarantee QoS. HARQ is composed by Forward error correction code and ARQ technique.FEC is ultilized to correct random error and ARQ to correct occasional serious interference from channel. HARQ varies widely, such as chase-combining, full of Incremental Redundancy,part of Incremental Redundancy.This article introduces some kinds of HARQ technique firstly, and then analysises retransmission mechanism,adaptive technique and especially combining-code in physical layer of LTE standard.Then this article proposes a code-combining algorithm based least square channel estimation.This algorithm can ultilizes gain from time diversity of ARQ . Simulation demonstrates that performance of new algorithm is obviously better in throughput.Lastly,this article introduces inplementation of HARQ on a develop board based on DSP array.DSP array is a new technique, integrated by advantages of ASIC and FPGA.
