For the purpose of accurate measurement on the flatness of LCD screen and improvement of LCD screen, this research focuses on methods for flatness measurement of the LCD screen. Besides, related design on hardware and software of the facility has been put forward which improve the accuracy of existent LCD screen flatness detectors. Such a device is supposed to meet international standards on the measurement of similar products.As for the research, a novel design of LED screen flatness detector is proposed based on recurrent three points measurement which relies on principles of embed and circuit measurement. This method intends to the overall distortion incurred by local roughness of the LED screen. I adopt the method of recurrent three points measurement to collect data from different LED screen samples so as to work on the error analysis. Measuring instruments uses precise control of the local keyboard embedded in the MCU chip and the stepper motor with integrated laser system serves to complete the measurement process of disparate sizes of LCD screens. Results is displayed and printed via LCD screen. Test results show that the precision of these measurements is not inferior to existent similar methods.The measuring instrument of this research project shares the advantages of small shape, convenient operation, high degree of automation, precise results. It is especially suitable for LCD production assembly and enterprises owing to prospective outlook in terms of application vantages.
