Mine collapse is one of the common natural disasters in the engineering geologicalproblems, support was damaged or aged will lead to the occurrence of collapse. Themineral resources of China is very rich, especially in the west and southwest of China,large and small mining sites are everywhere, with the extraction is increasing, the scale ofmining is so depth, permeable, supporting aging, the small endurance will result in minecollapse, and will bring serious damage to the nation-building and people's lives andproperty. It is necessary to monitor the main and achieve the early warning of maincollapse. Reduce the damage to the nation-building and people's lives and property. Dueto this problem, we design a monitoring and alarm system based on the distributed fibergrating.Firstly, the development status of domestic and foreign fiber Bragg grating sensorsare researched and the characteristics are analyzed in detail. The optical fiber sensors inthe future development trends in the field of mine collapse monitoring and advantage arestudied. The fiber grating sensing technology difficulty and the focus of the study havebeen determined.Secondly, using the ANSYS software to analyze the mine, the weak structural planecan be analyzed by using the ANSYS software, and design a displacement FBG sensor tomonitoring the mine real-time.Lastly, a distributed mine collapsed monitoring system have been designed,. A lot ofexperiments and analysis the date of the long time monitoring shows that the measurementaccuracy is high, and its stability and repeatability are quite good so it can be used to thereal-time monitoring mine.
