With the development of the Beidou satellite navigation system, satellite receiver used for Beidou has been widely used in many fields such as navigation and position, As the important part of the satellite receiver, the antenna's quality affects the receiver's quality and sensitivity directly.This study focuses on the design and debugging of microstrip antenna, the technology of the wide-beam and the improvement of the isolation of dual-frequency microstrip antenna, the major works are as follows:Firstly, the theory and realization of microstrip antenna is given; a single-frequency compact microstrip antenna used for portable satellite receiver is designed and realized; The miniaturization, broad bandwidth technologies, wide-beam technologies, dual-frequency technologies and circular polarization technologies are analyzed and summarized.Secondly, wide-beam technologies are analyzed in details, a technology which can wide the beamwidth is presented, and the technology is realized by adding the truncated cone ground to the microstrip antenna. An antenna which is fittest to be used in automobile satellite communication transmitter and receiver is designed and realized by adopting the technology.Thirdly, the improvement of isolation of dual-frequency microstrip antenna is researched, a novel and simple technology which we called the technology of grounding hole is presented, and the regulation and method of the application of the technology is analyzed and summarized. An antenna which is fittest to be used in monitor satellite receiver of GNSS is designed and realized by adopting the technology.This study is carried out based on the engineering application. The research result can be used in a Beidou receiver directly.
