With the development of Service Oriented Architecture, the amount of Web Service in enterprise grows with its scope and the enterprise put more concentration on the governance of Web Service. The current explosive growth of the service will often result in the problems of service design and management. This is reflected that in the web service design phase the business analysis could not depict the semantic of the business task well, and the service provider could not verify the web service they developed could satisfy the demands of the business. And in the web service runtime phase, the semantic changes and the consequence that unexpected changes of the service level attributes bring could not be identified easily. All of this is due to the lack of semantic information of business and web service which makes the web service governance platform could not work well. And the ontology based Service Governance brought a turning point.In this thesis, we research and analysis the problem of how to do the formal ontology modeling of enterprise resource and how to describe the business task and Web Service based on the resource ontology, and how to response the business task change quickly, so as to help the Web Service provider with fixing the existing Web Service, and at last we research about the one whole series problem in Web Service governance.The research work mainly includes following points:(1) One formal resource modeling including the complex operation mechanism based on ontology is proposed. First the advantage of the REST architecture style comparing to the others are analyzed, second, the formal resource model following the REST architecture style are built and based on this, a series of abstraction of the complex operation method are proposed with the indifferent resource status transformation ontology modeling method after the research of the properties of modern enterprise business task and web service.(2) The semantic mapping mechanism of the business task and the web service with the algorithm related are proposed. And based on the formal resource ontology model proposed by this thesis, the undifferentiated status transformation of the resource in the business task and web service is depicted. Then combining with the Semantic Web Rule Language, the business and the web service ontology model are built. Then the ontology reasoning technology with the algorithm of computing the service level is took advantage of to build up the semantic mapping relation between business task and web service focusing on the reusability of the business task ontology and web service ontology.(3) An ontology based Service Governance platform is built to resolve the core problems in modern web service environment. Finally, according to the web service governance method, one prototype system is developed including the ontology building module, ontology parsing module, semantic mapping relation of the business task and the web service computing, the WSDL generation module and the real time monitoring module and the service level semantic computing. After verification, the ontology based web service governance platform could help resolving the problems in web service governance well.This thesis supplies theory proving, abstract design and technique implementation for the ontology based Web Service governance mechanism. At the meantime, the validation of theoretical model together with prototype system shows that this framework could guarantee the quick and effective response to the changing business requirements.
