Based on the J2EE Web application platform, in the framework of integration on the basis of various architectures, this thesis analyse the traditional J2EE architecture (the J2EE architecture using EJB container as the core container), including the traditional EJB architecture and the local EJB architecture, and the lightweight J2EE architecture(especially for the Spring framework) in a higher level, and points out their limitations and inadequate. This thesis uses XML middleware, XML Web Service as the entry points, introduces the lightweight J2EE architecture base on the REST Service in the conception of REST Web Service. The framework is a Service Oriented Architecture based on the REST Web services model. With the goal to achieve high efficiency, configuration flexibility, safety, ease of use and practicality, portability, this thesis gives a detailed and comprehensive design, and also gives the implementation of the whole system. In physical layer, the whole system is divided into web tie and resource tie, with an overall design. In functionality layer, the whole system is divided into several functional modules and fully implemented based on the pattern of Component Based Development. The functionality point for each component is well introduced, and a detailed design for the outside interfaces is also given. Through this project, something has been tried in the traditional J2EE development mode, and compared with some existing lightweight J2EE architecture, which can provide a reference for the future development of a similar system. Finally, through the usage of the actual project, fully demonstrating the unique advantage for high efficiency, configuration flexibility, testability, security, ease of use, portability and practicality of the new architecture.
