Accompanied by the thriving development of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS), the requirement for services such as satellite positioning, navigation and time becomes stronger all the time, and relative application field goes wider and wider, so the complexity of the HW/SW algorithms and receiver architecture is rising constantly. On the other hand, with the development of integrated circuit technology, System-on-Chip (SoC) with high functional integration becomes the mainstream of product solution in the electronics market. So there is great significance to develop tools of automatic design and verification for navigation receiver SoC. In this thesis, ground on the the research of GPS system and receiver, we propose an innovative concept of Navigation Receiver SoC Design and Verification Platform, which aims at the work of receiver algorithm design and on-board verification. And we make certain exploration into the design and implementation of the Platform.This thesis introduce the design ideas and implementation of the two functional parts of the Platform and we have three achievements listed below:●On the aspect of receiver algorithm-level design work, by summarizing the characteristics of GPS receiver algorithms, typical module separation and system architecture, we take the advantage of the thoughts of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design to establish a programming templates and algorithm libraries for GPS receiver algorithm-level design, which can assist designer of algorithm to design software with features of extensibility, reusability, portability and maintainability. The Platform is also designed compatible with behavioral-level model using SystemC.●On the aspect of on-board verification work, we design and implement a software for receiver test and analysis. This software provides function of test stimuli generation based on the technology of satellite signal simulation, and provides regular control of receiver test flow and test result feedback in view of the traits of receiver working flow and data structure.●By using UML and design pattern, we ensure the regularity of the procedure of the design above and enhance the Platform's structural and extendible features.The experiment results show that a fully-functional receiver prototype can be designed using the Design Platform, and test and verification work can be done to a certain extent on the Verification Platform.
