The Research And Implementation Of EPC Information Service System

IOT(Internet of Things) is to make all kinds of objects with sensor equipment connected to communicate between objects and objects or between man and objects by using the network for the purpose of making the commodity life cycle transparent and commercial transaction automatic. The international standards organization EPCglobal established EPC(Electronic Product Code) information service standards, EPC information service system meeting the standards plays an important role in EPC network.For reducing the cost of electronic tags, EPC Information Service (EPCIS) system provides an effective solution: other information about items stores in EPC information service, EPC can be stored in the electronic tags within items, through EPC of a product we can get the information of other items. Reducing the storage capacity of the electronic tags, can reduce the cost of electronic tags.EPCIS standard of EPCglobal is analysed, Then the EPC Information Services with the EPCIS standard studied, and EPC Information Service system working process completely studied. EPCIS in EPC network architecture, is responsible for acquisition of the original information by reading device and intermediary software, integrated with business process and translated into meaningful information for further applications including subsequent query or exchange.The EPC Information Service system is designed, function model sketches drawed; EPCIS system mainly includes Capture Client , EPCIS Repository and Query Client ; Capture Client captures the item data, through the capture interface sent to EPCIS Repository, EPCIS Repository stores data in a database, Query Client receives query condition, throught query interface sending request to the EPCIS Repository, EPCIS Repository queries the database , returns the results.Using Java language and MyEclipse developing environment, the EPC Information service prototype system is realized by coding. The system can complete the functions of EPCIS capture interface and query interface, and test the function and robustness, proofing the system can accomplish required functions; In the end the advantages and shortcomings in the EPC information service system is analyzed.
