As its flexibility,convenience, flexibility and convenience, The Wireless Local Network (WLAN) has been widely used in houses, businesses, airports, schools and other environments. When the businesses want to structure a WLAN to cover a wide range of area, They must deploy a large number of AP (Access Point), After that,if they upgrade the software on the APs one by one, as well as the Power management settings and so on, will give the businesses and users of high maintenance costs. Thus,the technology of using an AC(Access Controller) to manage multiple APs in the centralized wireless network came into being, It could effectively reduce the maintenance cost and improve the wireless service quality. To facilitate the communication Protocal specification between AP and AC become standard, IETF CAPWAP protocol drafted.Now, it has become the best way to build a wireless network base on the CAPWAP protocol while in the large-scale environment, CAPWAP protocol technology has become a hot research point now, and it is the major contents of this paper.We begin our research from the CAPWAP protocal system architecture, after we studied the open source code of the CAPWAP protocal system from the internet, we designed a scheme which would proposed to the current product.The system is upward compatible designed, It can be compatible of the LWAPP protocal,so users do not need to change the hardware of existing product ,they could only upgradte the software to gain the support for the CAPWAP protocal; Considering the demands for the manufacturers of personalized products required, we designed The VENDORTLV module, enabling manufacturers of private functions. At the same time,we set aside interfaces for functional extension of the follow-up;We designed the dual mechanism for the tunnel to keep-alive independently, so the tunnel could maintain better stability in the complex network environment. Considering the system may suffer from packet fragmentation attacks, we built the attack model, put forward the prevention strategies, and designed the corresponding algorithm,it could effectively improve the system security. Finally, the paper gives the system test results and analysis of test data,it shows that the system has met the design requirements. At present, the system has been successfully applied in a equipment of a telecommunications company, it should have a wide range of applications.
