Smart grid is a kind of power system which consisting of large number of automatic transmission and distribution systems, all in a coordinated, effective and reliable means of power grid operation, implemented on the technology of information, automation, and interaction. In recent years, with smart grid surge in number of resources in the knowledge management system, a mass of information makes our engineering staff encountered greater difficulties in information retrieval. Current information retrieval technologies have made progress, but the traditional information retrieval technology based on key words is still dominant, recall and precision ratio has not been significantly improved.This article is on the basis of summing up the results of existing research, design and implementation of the knowledge retrieval system of smart grid based on ontology, basically achieves the expected research goals. Model of knowledge retrieval system design in this article, is a model of information retrieval based on ontology, coming from existing models of information retrieval technology, but different from the traditional one. The system is more focus on the semantics and concepts of the article, to reveal the inner meaning of the article essentially, extend through semantic and ontology reasoning, dramatically improve retrieval system to a certain degree of recall and precision.This article comprehensively expound the technology of domanial knowledge modeling based on ontology, design and propose a general model of knowledge retrieval system and in-depth study on ontology building methods, and at the conclusion of their predecessors on the basis of the outcome of the study, present an improved method for ontology construction. This article design the system in detail, by design principle for each key modules of the system and function realization of the elaborated, and ultimately achieve the retrieval system models, and run a test on the system and analysis the performance indicators.
