In the first part, the managementsystem of issuing pension for retired staff has been designed and successfully developedaccording to the specific business demands. The functions of this management system aremanaging, analyzing and maintaining various kinds of business information. In another word,it can manage the information of working units, retired staff, support staff and pensions? it canmake a corresponding report forms according to the demands of users by analyzing the relateddata; and it can permit the users to print the information selectively. In the second part, thetechnology of the fingerprint identification is adopted to collect and compare the fingerprintsof insurants including the collection insurants'fingerprints and cards, and the comparison oftheir finger prints and cards.The management system of issuing pension for retired staff adopted C/S construction inanalyzing and designing, using Rational Rose UML CASE tool.Meanwhile Physical Databasewas designed by using SQL Sever 2005 and relational database tables were developed.Sincethere are many Interactive Data, Powerbuilder is adopted to develop the system for itsmaneuverability. As for fingerprints identification technology, Visual Basic is adopted todesign the related modules for its fault tolerance and transferability.In the course of issuing pension for retired staff, it's hard to confirm the survival state ofretired staff because the working unit relocates and changes or because the retired staff leavefor other cities or countries. Therefore the phenomena of false claim happen often. Theintegrated management system combined with the technology of fingerprint identification isthe effective way to solve these problems. Being the most secure and reliable way to establishthe identity so far, it has been approved by the social security department.The management system of issuing pension for retired staff has been finished developingand testing, and has been put into use. The operating effect is good. It effectively solved theproblem of managing the issuance of pensions for retired staff and avoided the phenomena offalse claim. So it produced so much favorable comment from the related departments.
